New evidence from Russian scientist show underwater lake tributary and river tributary systems under over 1.2 miles of ice. As many have heard from history Atlantis was destroyed by a violent volcanic eruption. followed by massive earthquakes and then a super tsunami flooded it out. When fresh water mixes with salt water it can trigger a mini ice age or extreme freezing. So what if after a massive tsunami there was an instant freezing of the flood waters? This would cover up any evidence that could have been left behind. In addition to that a pole shift would cover that in even more ice. So now that there is a great thawing of the ice glaciers of Antarctica perhaps the evidence will be found. This explains why no traces of this continent has been found so far. This is just a theory and much more research must be done. There is a great deal of evidence already found in the mid Atlantic that supports that the Azores islands might be the true location. However the word Atlantis is plural for Atlas. Which means there could have been many location of this civilization. And many believe Atlantis was more than a location. It was an empire and a period of time. In 2019 Osharian scientist a long with Scientists from other countries plan send an expedition to Antarctica to further research these claims and the possibility of this undiscovered truth.
